COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Glenridge Golf Course and Clubhouse
Welcome to Glenridge Golf Course! During this challenging time, Glenridge staff wants to reassure you that this pandemic is taken very serious at the course, and precautions are in place to protect your health and the health of the staff. We must abide by these new protocols so we can keep the course open and safe for everyone.
Please be reminded that we all must follow the CDC guidelines to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. We will do our part to contain the virus, please do yours.
Glenridge will re-open the course for play and offer limited access to the clubhouse beginning on Monday, April 6 at Noon. Tee-times are encouraged and can be made via phone at 605 263-3546. Please call before coming to Glenridge to make sure things have not changed. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our staff. COVID-19 is a fluid situation and may change day to day.
In the Clubhouse, the East door will be the only door open. The bar stools and tables will be blocked off and no seating will be available. To-go drinks and snacks will be available at this time. Bathrooms are also available and will be wiped down throughout the day. In-person member sign in is not required, this will help reduce the traffic inside the clubhouse. Again, please call to sign in and see if tee times are available.
On the course, we will be removing all items that may come in contact with multiple players. There will be no ball washers, on-course bathrooms, benches or water coolers available. There will be flagsticks on the course but all golfers are encouraged to leave the flagstick in while putting. The holes will be raised or foam inserts will be put in to prevent the ball from going in the hole. If you hit the hole, it is considered in. Our goal is to provide a “touchless golf experience.”
The driving range will be open. We will clean the range balls and buckets regularly.
Members will be allowed to use their own carts, and carts will still be available to rent. Follow social distancing protocols by riding solo in each cart, this includes private carts. Only members of immediate families may ride two in a cart.
This is a fluid situation, and our policies may change at any time as new information becomes available.
Thanks you for your cooperation!
